Enchi for sure. He has the typical banding that happens with the enchi gene and some gold coming up the sides.

Yep, he's an Enchi, and not THAT bad, the lighting isn't very good in most of those. As for spots, breed him to a reduced pattern, fix that right up.

X2. You should be happy that people can identify it as an enchi . There are plenty of enchis out there who try to give the gene a bad name haha. Most people won't be able to tell the difference between bad enchi and normal.. The pictured enchi is very obviously an enchi . For that, you should be proud!

Just because I can... Here is what I consider to be a sexy Enchi, for comparison...

And the camera doesn't pick up the amazing peach colors on him.

    Re: Enchi Or Normal

This might be the first time I've seen a "Is it a ______________ or a normal" thread and the answer wasn't "normal."

Beautiful Enchi! unfortunately I cant get a baby to size this season I really want to make blonde pastel enchis this season, she is a reduced pattern blonde pastel so hopeully the offspring will be cleaner then I can hold a male and female that look nicer.

I wouldn't pass on any enchi that was offered at the right price. They're just too good in too many combos. And that one is nice and big and ready to breed. It's a boy?

I have a dark enchi female from RDR. Very nice banding, though I was hoping for something brighter. But absolutely nobody was selling bright enchi girls when I was looking, and RDR did say she was a good eater. She's a great eater. And she's friendly, and she has a weirdly cute little face. This year she'll be ready to breed with my pied male. So I'm not complaining!
