Feed him in the Living space, no handling and leave him in the 6qt. I've noticed that they sometimes need the container to smell like them before they get comfortable enough to eat. Give him some time, maybe skip a papertowel cleaning or two and try feeding him. In all actuality just relax... Become less concerned. Which I know is very hard to do at the moment. He sounds a little stressed and he's a baby. But they do know what's best for them.

Ok thanks, yeah I'm over thinking it:-) ill relax and just give him some space. I had been told I could put him in substrate so I did should I switch him back to papertowels before feeding him?

What kind of substrate are you using? Aspen is actually recommended for problem feeders (helps them feel hidden, IMO), but cypress, paper towels, and newspaper are all fine, too. Some people use coco husk, but I don't have any experience with it.

Sounds good then. Give him a week from the shed to offer his first meal. Good luck!
