And no, I do not expect to tell them apart, thats why I'm semi hesitant to go with the bel route and am looking for other options as well.

mojave or lesser/butter might be the best option if your ok with making more BEL. Personally Id shot for the lesser/butter since I just love the white on them, despite the risk for bug eyes.

if you want to advance genetically, you should be able to find a two gene combo a little above your budget. Pinstripes are a personal favorite of mine.

Get something with clown or enchi, both look great with the BEL complex.

I'd get the nicest looking female enchi you can find. Butter/lesser enchis are delicious!

If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

I would maybe think a long the lines of a Cinnamon, Calico, or Enchi.
I know you said you have pastel but a Super Pastel could rock the boat with him too

Don't you think you should of pressed the thanks button for a member giving you a little bit of information, instead of getting offended? You didn't know before, now you do. Out of the two words he posted, I don't see where he said anything was wrong genetically.

but to correct you it is only 12.5% on each not 25% unless you are on the set that a Butter and Lesser are the same.

    12.5% butter
    12.5% butter pastel
    12.5% butter bee
    12.5% butter bumble bee
    12.5% lesser
    12.5% lesser pastel
    12.5% lesser bee
    12.5% queen bee
