    4 feedings no poop..

I got my red tail boa at the begining of August. He eats like a champ and all of his temps and humidity are where they should be but I have not seen any poop in his home since the day I brought him home. I have fed him 4 pinkie rats (what he was being fed when I got him) in the past 4 weeks. I have seen some urates laying around but only once or twice. Is this okay? I am just worried he isn't digesting properly. He does seem to have gotten bigger but that may just be me think he has considering I didn't weigh him when I first got him. If it isn't normal what should I do? How often should he be pooping/peeing? He also just went from blue to clear. Not sure if that is helpful.

How large is he? Maybe post a pic? How often do you feed?

I wouldn't worry about him not pooping, some snakes just don't go more than others. If you see bloating, swelling in the back end, etc then there may or may not be problems but I'd give him more time before starting to worry: he may surprise you. Most of my snakes poo right after they shed.

I wouldn't worry too much. My baby BP eats really well and so far he has only pood while shedding. At all other times he just expels urates.

My boa went two shed cycles with little to no poop. As long as she's well hydrated and healthy its just a matter of time. When they finally do go, its like getting a steamy lump of coal for Christmas lol

I am defiantly going to breath a sigh of relief once he does drop a big coal of poop haha. It probably doesn't help that my chinchillas seem to poop around 50million times a day.

Here are pictures of my lovely boy though.
I doubt all of them will help for the person who asked but I thought I would share anyways!
    I feed him every Sunday.

Rat pinkies are nothing more then water, fat, and momma's milk. It'll take a while before he lets go on what you're feeding. If he gets sausage butt, soak him in warm water, around 90 degrees. Measure it, don't guess. I would switch him to similar size mice.

Do you know how heavy he is in grams?

Rough guess I'd say at least hopper/weanling mice.
