    Hurricane Isaac pictures....

Not the greatest pics as most were taken out of my truck with a camera phone.

Where I'm at it wasn't too bad. We had lots of wind and rain, mostly power outages and a few fallen trees.

My sister, about an hour away from me had about 4ft of water in her house. They had to walk about a mile in about chest deep water to a bus to take them to a shelter area because the boats wouldn't take them with their german shephard. She's been in the same house for 12 years and never had any flooding whatsoever. Apparently the Army Corps of Engineers diverted water away from New Orleans their way because it "never floods".

The dogs didn't like the storm very much...

Couple of fallen trees when we went driving during the storm....

    Direct hit on the shed...

    No archery today...

The rest of these are from when I went to pick up my sister, so its a bit worse out there.

Their back yard within a few hours....

People floating the kids in trash cans and recycle bins....

    Lines down...

After the water had gone down a bit obviously...

    Keeping an eye out....

The line of people trying to get into Winn-Dixie...I wish I would have gotten a pic of the lines of people trying to get into gas stations. There was a line of cars a mile long trying to get to the gas station.

Glad you made it through safely, sorry to hear about your sisters house. I hope she had flood insurance.

I got mobilized for Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and this brings back some memories. Hope everything turns out well for you and your family.
