Just got a lavendar albino!

Can you post pic's? I doubt someone would be selling a Lavender albino on CL.

That's the thing, he doesn't think it is a lavendar. Maybe I'm wrong, and maybe normal albino's have a purple tint. From what I know, lavendars start changing soon after their born. I thought it was the lighting in the pic when I first saw it, but when I actually got to house and looked at him, he is definetly got a purple tint.

Maybe regulars do the same then lose it, but I wasn't aware that happens.

You just bought an Albino, not a Lavender Albino.

I might have to wait to see if it darkens. I sent the pick to 2 breeders I bought my Mojave & female Albino from and one said lavendar, one said normal. Pictures aren't the best either. I jsut picked it up this morning so this pic is the one he had with the CL post. I haven't had a chance to take any myself.

to answer your original question, if it is a lavender it will not be compatible with the more common 'typical' albinos. at least to the best of my knowledge. I've never owned either morph.

You're correct, as someone said above also, but according to WOBP Genetic Wizard, if you bred an Albino to a Lav. Albino you'd get Het. Albino Het. Lavender Albino. This goes to the OP, never buy from CL unless you're absolutely positive it's what you're buying, also here is a link to an Albino and a Lav. Also, lavender albino isn't compatible with regular albino, so all of the babies would be normal.

I'm going to add to it XD. They'll be normal appearance. But all would be 100% het for albino and lav. albino.

Yeah I'm looking at the link and they look like what I have, same purple tint, ruby eyes dark patterns. I don' have the best eyesight though (lol). I have 2 normal albino's (low contrast) and he doesn't look lke either.
