    I remember reading something not long after I joined about them changing all that veteran status and such requirements. Don't remember exactly what it was. Pretty sure it had something to with a 1 or 2 year time frame. I don't remember anything about the rep points though.

    It's 2 years and 200+ posts. In the old days, we also added the +75 rep points, because back then, it was HARD to build up any sort of significant rep score and if someone did, they worked really hard to earn it. When we added a rep point to every "thanks" given, it became far easier to build up high rep scores, so we removed that criteria.

    I wish I had about a full week of "vacation" time with nothing to do...then I could clean out all those ancient, out of date bits of info and create all new FAQs and stuff. Sadly, there's no free time anywhere on the horizon.
