So the results are in and he had a seizure. We think he's not been taking his meds is the cause. So now we are pressing Mom to work with the insurance to hire an assisted living person to help out with things like that. We are not about to put him in a nursing home. We've had terrible experiences with them involving my grandparents. Anyways, he is awake and talking finally. He's gonna try and eat something at lunch.

I work in one. Try to avoid them at all costs. Just trust me.
Glad to hear that it sounds like he's stabilized for now. If he doesnt wanna eat i would at least try to have him drink an Ensure or something to get some calories into him. Keep us updated chris, you and your family are in our thoughts!
Update: Dad in law is still in ICU, he had setback with his breathing today. Chris has been checking on him every day and I have been going to see his mom for a couple hours every day at least, except for today (he did that b/c I worked all day). I am going to see Dad tomorrow since I haven't had a chance to go see him myself yet. Hopefully he is doing better!
