You would be amazed how many people know NOTHING about snakes.
I get asked all the time how I can live with such HUGE snakes (all ball pythons) and if they are "poisonous."
I have to fight my urge to roll my eyes every time.

I saw a 14 ft "Boa Python" on Craigslist. Said it weighed 40 to 50 lbs.

I have seen it spelled "Bald" a good number of times.

Its a wonder that people that cant even figure out what type of snake they have can provide the care it needs to live.

Also did I read this right? Yalls ball pythons dont have fangs? Mine has fangs and a rattle. Now Im wondering if mine is actually a BP.

    Thanks...

We had a heck of a time getting him down from there.

We ended up carrying him, still gripping the Mossberg to his Boa Condo.

That feller sure loves his firearms.

    This is the 'full version'

The "poisonous" thing is one of my major pet peeves. Snakes are "venomous", not "poisonous".

    :eyeroll:

P.S - I'm well aware of the poisonous colubrids in the Rhabdophis genus. But for arguments sake, I just go with "Snakes are venomous. Not poisonous."
