Growth rates of mice only eater females?

For anyone who has had a picky eater who prefers and gets to eat only mice, what kind of difference of growth are you seeing from rat eaters?

Also for those who answer. What size and how many mice are you giving 1000+ gram girls?

Finally? Anyone with breeding girls who eat mice? How long did it take for them to be big enough?

I can't speak on mice, but I have a few that will only eat ASF.

If they take them I will feed as many as I can to hit that 10% marker..

Example:

1000 gram female,

10% of body weight = 100 grams.
1 large mouse = 20 grams or so..

If you can get her to eat 5 mice than there would be no difference in growth of the BP than you would get feeding rats.

They grow fine. I have(and have had) a few big mouser females. Some will eat 4-6 mice at a clip, others only 1 or 2 at a time so I'd spread their feeding over the week. They do well.

I'd love to know, too.

I have some girls and one male who only 'eat one and done' and I know they should have bigger/more food but they started to refuse the small rats I got for them last time just about when the supply was running out.

I got them large F/T mice this time around.

They're on a 7 day schedule, currently because I thought it was bad to feed them 'too often'.

My 2500 gram girl will only eat one ASF in a feeding so I offer every 2-3 days. Sometime's she'll take and sometimes she wont..

I know as soon as I present the ASF whether she's interested. If she's not I get out of there ASAP so she doesn't get stressed out. But she usually takes.

2-3 days a week depending on their size, general feeding response and overall demeanor.

Only reason I ask is because I have a normal which is the first snake I got. I got her as a baby and she took mice down like a champ. Switching to rats was a mission having to scent them and stuff but she is currently is 930 grams. I got her as a little baby in October 2010. She went on a 4 month fast, ate 2 rats, and hasnt eaten again in a month or two. I'm just thinking she might like mice better and even smaller mouse meals would be better than her barely eating. She is a other wise healthy snake but I want to eventually breed her with my Pied male as she is a possible HET.

I kind of want her just to grow more even if it is a slower rate as the current rate is almost nothing.
