Re: When to handle my Ball Python again?
you should just wait about 2 days after he eats before yo handle him, and when you first get a ball python, don't handle them until they eat. Congrats!

The above is good for the time after eating.
For letting it settle in you will find most on here suggest 7-10 days.
I would wait until 2-3 days after the next feeding and then start. Also pay close attention to signs of stress. Some snakes need more time after eating than others. My bp is pretty calm and two days is fine but my gtp needs 3-4 until she can be handled again. My general rule is to not start handling after feeding until they start moving around doing their regular behavior, not that bp move alot but you will find they each have their movement patterns.

For new snakes, it's best not to handle them for at least a week minimum. This allows them to settle in without stressing out.
Once the snake has eaten, the rule of thumb is wait 48 hours before handling.

I thought I read somewhere to wait for two or three feedings...
