    Question First Shedding?

I have a question about my snakes first shedding. I've seen shed skin before but not while it was still on the snake or anything. What does it look like?

I think my baby BP is about to enter her first shedding cycle. Her eyes are milky blue and the skin on her head and neck area seems loose and looks lighter like its about to start comming off.

Is this her skin getting ready to shed or is she ill?

She's about to shed! For some reason I really love how snakes shed. It really fascinates me. Anyways, her eyes will go back to nomal then you should find a shed skin pretty soon after that!

You will see her eyes clear up and she will appear normal, when this happens she will most probably shed within 1-2days so bump up that humidity!

    Thumbs up Re: First Shedding?

My BP shedded! It came off in one piece for the most part. There was two small pieces that came off seperately. Guess the humidity went down in the middle of the night while she was shedding. Either way, it finally happened! It was so cool! ☺☺☺☺☺
