Piece of metal lost in snake enclosure...
A piece of a plant hook about 1/8th of an inch long has somehow vanished amongst my substrate.
I have been digging around trying to find it for nearly 30 minutes, without success.
How great a risk is it? Should I be emptying out the entire cage?

Yup. That's what I was fearfully guessing I would be doing.

Reason number 143,576 why I don't like putting superfluous stuff in my snake enclosures.

Yup. Rather painful lesson. I had the pleasure of setting up my enclosure... twice!
