Myrtle Beach Reptile Expo, Aug 11-12, 2012...

Where'd you decide to stay? Karl and I are driving in Thursday night, so that we can "play" on Friday - probably at Broadway at the Beach. Though - that's also a lot of fun to walk around at night too.

Hopefully it won't be TOO hot that weekend.

I will be at the La Quinta on 21st Avenue. I believe it is about 1 mile from the Convention Center. I will be heading down on Friday. Since I can't check in until 3:00pm, there is a place in Wilmington that I was thinking about stopping at and checking out on the way. It's called the Cape Fear Serpentarium. I can't believe that as long as I have been in this area, I had never heard of the place until a few weeks ago. It looks like a good way to start off a reptile expo weekend.

I just wanted to bump this - three weeks until the show! Also - there will be an auction Saturday after the show and the proceeds will be going to the Sean Bradley fund to help pay for his medical expenses, and the auctioneer will be Limey - if you've never been to an auction by Limey - it's a must see. Just be careful not to fidget or scratch your nose, etc - or you may find yourself the winner of the auction! LOL

I'm not quite sure where you are located but if you aren't more than 5-6 hours (or more of you like a car ride) away this is an awesome show to make it to. It's at least a 4 hour drive for me but worth every second. Also there are reptile expos all over the place.
