    Crazy looking babies, congrats!
I guess it's possible but not very likely. I'm pretty sure it was a temp problem during incubation. That baby seems to have a little neurological issue as well as scrambled up looks. Nothing crazy, but it has a little bit of a shake like some Spiders show. I've left it alone since hatching and it's going through shed now. I'll snap some pics once it sheds out...and find out if it's a he or a she too...although I suppose breeding is out...

Still have about a week before my other clutch hatches...hope all goes well with them...

    Stingerbee shed today...

Last baby is still in the egg...and still shows no sign of wanting to come out. Today is day 65...all other babies (except for the oddball) have had their first shed, and this one still isn't out yet. Everything looks good though...fluid is still clear, good vein structure...still reacts to light and a gentle poke...I don't understand...I guess he/she is just a slow cooker...

Took this pic a few minutes ago...

I also had a clutch affected by a power outage this year (time to shop for a UPS). I also have a baby with funky eye caps like your orange enchi, and I also have one still in the egg long past the time the others were all out, just as you're experiencing. He finally stuck his nose up today, so I have hope!

Well that's pretty weird! These clutches are cosmically connected somehow!

Hopefully the last baby will pop his nose out soon...

What day did yours finally stick his nose out?

The first of the clutch emerged on the 20th, 2 full days after pipping. That emergence was on day 60. So, this little guy finally has his nose out on day 62, pipping 4 days after the first one. (The other baby in the clutch who made it emerged yesterday morning).

I did get tail kinks on the other two babies--just the tail, thankfully! I also had 3 dead in the egg, though. I guess the power outage caught them at just the wrong time. The clutch that went into the incubator a few days after this one is already halfway hatched, as well, and the babies are all perfectly fine.

He did not come out today, so I investigated, found the yolk was fully absorbed and detached, so I took him out. He seems to be fine, although perhaps not quite as strong as I would typically like, but he has a big fat belly full of yolk. His eye caps are abnormal, and I don't think he can see, which is an issue also affecting one of the others. He doesn't have any kinks.

We'll have to see what happens when these guys shed, to see whether the eye issue is temporary or permanent. I suspect his inability to see was part of the reason why he did not leave the egg on his own.

Has anyone else seen this eye issue?

I'm curious to know what's likely to happen, both to my two, and to the OP's snake as well.

Wierd little orange guy shed out last night. Crazy looking thing!

Last one in the egg is still there, and still shows no sign of coming out. Still looks okay and is coloring up now...today is day 70...not sure how long to wait him/her out though???

Here's a few pics of the funky orange dude...

It's eye looks too small for it's head, or the socket is too big. You can see the white border all the way around the eyeball.

    Weird.
