How long can I leave hatchlings in the egg bin?

Just wondering how long I can leave hatchlings in the egg bin once they have pipped. Six of a potential seven have pipped already, but I will be going away for the weekend and was wondering if it is possible to just take them out when I get back on Sunday. Thanks for your time!

I moved all my babies to a single tub with wet paper towels as they hatched and left the whole group in the 'bator til they were all out.

They'll be fine as long as there aren't any spikes or anything.
As soon as Babies pip I move them into a hatch out bin which is just a tub with really wet papertowels. As they come out one by one I usually take them out. But they'll all be fine in there together.

In theory, could I not leave them in there until their first shed?

Be careful leaving them in the incubator for several days. Depending on your incubation setup, the heat & humidity within an incubator can be overwhelming to hatchlings that are starting to metabolize their yolks & higher temperatures could prove fatal. You can always set the eggs up in a tub in a rack to be on the safe side.

Thanks for the reply, and that is a great idea. Having said that, would you say it is a necessary precaution considering incubation temps are at 87.5 degrees? Also, my method of incubation is rather unorthodox but effective: I use the cooler and aquarium heater setup, but I drill holes in the egg bins to allow the humidity from the water surrounding the egg bins to enter. I bought the extra large cooler from Canadian Tire .

Are these temperatures too hot? It is quite humid inside, but I was just going to soak a paper towel and place the eggs/hatchlings on that anyways.
