Feed store ordered me Mazuri Rodent Feed...not 6F...problems?
As the title says, I went to go pick up my rodent feed and they had ordered in a 25lb bag of Mazuri Rodent Feed when I had told them to order the 6F. I would have told them to send it back but I was completely out of feed and it will take 2 weeks for the next order to come in. As far as ingredients go, the main difference is the rodent feed is much higher in protein. I know my rats will be fine eating this for the next two weeks but will there be any negative effects on my feeders...possibly affecting the snakes?
They say the 6F is a specifically made for rats being fed to reptiles but it doesn't say that for the rodent feed.

I appreciate the reply. I did see that thread and my bag is not part of the recall. I was wondering if the higher protein in the 'rodent feed' VS the 6F will cause any problems transfering to my snakes? My bag says 23% protein and I believe the 6F is 16%.

The 23% protein is Mazuri 5663. This is all I feed my rats besides fresh vegetables. I prefer feeding males less protein as they have a tendency to get fat, but I feel strongly that the extra protein is good for mommas and growing babies. My rats all have thick, shiny coats with very!! healthy, well growing babies. Non-breeding rats should be fed less protein.
EDIT: forgot to mention that, maybe it's their genetics, but my momma rats typically produce no less than 8 babies per litter, more typically 9-11. This has held true for my unrelated breeders.
