I didn't know that! I've been bummed lately because my girl got really dark. I just assumed that she's like some BP's and her color faded because she's getting older. Do they do it according to seasons or just whenever they feel like it?

Re: New BCI
A lot of things can cause them to change their color. I find the most drastic color change in females during breeding. Their colors can look really amazing before they lay. Temperature, temperament, time-of-day / night, and barometric pressure can all affect their colors.

This little guy is super worked up I can't even go by his tank without him hissing and striking the glass. I am about to black out the back and sides of his tank to try to make him feel more secure.

Congrats on the boa! I kept looking at Lynn's (Boa and Ball's) T positive CAs but decided to go in a different route with what I wanted. Me and my bf got a couple of balls from her last year though and everything went well so I always recommend her. Will be waiting for the photos

So I have read that CA's are pretty nippy when they are young, but also that they mellow out when they get a little size on them. Is this true? I can not seem to get a straight answer.
