She was in the deli container in the picture you posted, and the box looked fine in picture too. So what happened?

Dude, are you serious, it's not this hard. Obviously I wouldnt send him a snake with a box pissed on and covered in poop, I threw it away when I got the snake. The picture is one I JUST TOOK of her ready to be sent back. I just explained this whole process. That why I said "she is ready to go" and yeah I washed the deli container and put her back in it.

Cbconstrictors, do you have pics of the animals he was going to send you? And is the pic he posted with the pastel in the deli your box/packaging or his?
MrL249, we are not trying to go against you or try to sully your name unwarranted. We just want to make sure everything is on the up and up...
No offense, but its hard to take someone on their word when their integrity has been questioned. We are just trying to give you the opportunity to make things right...

Perhaps I'm stepping out of bounds or not familiar with the agreement. However....
From what I have read of Trades, it is typical for both parties to send their animals out at similar times, so that each party has a tracking number and it limits the problems for scamming (not by much, but it's a quicker reassurance).
So here are my concerns, as an outside perspective:
What were the agreements on the timeline for the trades? What did you and the OP agree to for this exchange? Were you both to send out animals at the same time? I ask, because it seems odd that you would not send out your animals as your half of the trade. Perhaps the OP can let us know what the agreement was.
I don't know. I'm just not feeling why you want to return the animal, especially after you didn't even send out yours yet. It just kind of comes across as: "I'm going to wait and see this animal in person, then decide." I imagine that's just my prespective and perhaps I'm completely out of line.
Did you contact the snakes owner about the vet visit? Do you have photographs of why you felt you needed to take it into the vet?
If the vet also told you this was normal, why did it scare you so much about this animal? If I were unsure of a vets diagnosis, then I'd definitely come here with some photos and get feedback from people here with more experience.
Wish I could be more helpful here. It's definitely not an easy situation, especially with people like myself posting about it, haha.
Either way, even if you guys don't post here, PLEASE communicate with each other. Even if a transaction doesn't work out, I hope all the snakes are alright.

Its is common practice to ship at the same time. Sometimes people are affriad of getting a raw deal and decide that one person should ship first, then when that animal arrives the other ships promptly.
If there is a believed issue with an animal, the sender needs to be notified first and foremost. Taking the animal to the vet is something that will be discussed between both parties so there is no guessing going on.

Actually no it’s not and it does not guarantee anything at all, one of the person can send an empty box if their intent is to scam someone they will.
I generally do not do trade however trade come down to the person’s references and or reputation.
If someone wants to trade their animal with me THEY will have to ship first, upon receiving and inspecting the animal I would then ship the animal that was agreed upon, works the same as receiving payment, you pay first get the animal once paid, here is you send your animal you get yours once received.
If I was contacting someone to trade my animal, I would expect to ship first.

I phrased my comment about the reassurance a little differently. Lets say that the persons involved are not heavily in the industry. For instance, you have a very solid reputation. Two people that are just hobby members do not have that priviledge.
To some degree, by having the exchange of tracking numbers the same day gives you the chance to know sooner whether you are getting ripped off or not. Yes, absolutely they can send an empty box. But that still costs money and effort on the scammers part too, so that might weed out a few of the really lazy ones. I more meant by my comment that same-day shipping trades allows you to have an immediate tracking number and an idea of that person is being serious or not.
It's no guarentee at all. It's more a litmus test to see sooner rather than later if the deal is going to go sour. Perhaps give you a better heads up and be able to respond more quickly to the issue.
Unless it was a direct face-to-face... I would never do a trade. It just leaves too much to risk. All I have to do is read the BOI and I know it's not something to enter into lightly. Especially with just HOW many things can go wrong.
You are right. I just wanted to clarify what I meant to avoid confusion
In this case, seeing as both parties aren't heavy into the business side of the hobby, this just seems like a risky transaction. Not for the people, just for the element of the unknown with both parties.

Re: trade went bad any advice
Let me just start by saying im not trying to cause any problems but im the girlfriend of CBconstrictors i packed the pastel up and for the life of me i can't figure out how she got out of the deli cup. I felt horrible about that. To answer some questions the snakes were supposed to be shipped the same day. The guy told us that he wasn't home and his wife was supposed to ship the snakes. We later that day got a text saying when he got home his wife didn't send the snakes because the box he had for them she had used and he didn't know. Then he received our pastel and told us she was bleeding from her vent and had shed in the box. The next day he said he took her to the vet and said the vet said that it wasn't anything to worry about. He told us that he was worried about her breeding in the future. My boyfriend told him it was ok if he didn't want to trade and just send her back. He said he would and that he was just going to use the box we sent her in because it was packed good. Im not trying to start anything but somewhere the information is changing and i don't understand why.
