    You can never be 100% certain that they won't. Most people who bring along snakes as educational animals have had them for years and know that the odd of them biting people are slim. It's just knowing the personality of the snake. Most snake bites are either defensive strikes or feeding responses, so if you don't scare them and you don't act like food, chances are they won't bite.
