I disagree... I haven't heard any sound reasoning for why he would be taking 2 weeks. I suppose multiple little things could cause a series of unfortunate events, but thats probably unlikely. Is it murpheys law or occams razor?

I see no need for those. Yet. However, there are a LOT of people here. Knowing who's in question here is pertinent.

If you want help, you need to provide the information needed to allow help to be given. Without all the facts, it's a waste of time.

I agree actually... what if it was another Tim Rainwater like character (on a much smaller scale of course) selling snakes he doesn't have yet. Maybe we've heard of the dude and can suggest the best way to proceed-- like whether or not to request a refund.

Just because there's a picture there doesn't mean he has them in his possession NOW or, if he does, that they're actually for you. I would ask him to take a picture with the snakes on a piece of paper that says, "For (your name)" with the date of purchase and todays date. That way, if he doesn't actually have them-- then he can't do that. If he does have them, then you have some more evidence to support that he owes you snakes...
