    Well, 'quality' is pretty much in the eye of the beholder. But their appearance has everything to do with genetics and jack squat to do with number of generations removed from the original lesser. You can take the same lesser and breed it to multiple females and some of the babies will look stunning, some of them will look pretty good, some will look average and some will be 'not all that'. Remember that the female will bring in 50% of the genes to the equation and her looks are just as important as the looks of the male.
