No. She doesn't. She looks completely normal. She is really overall darker than the other normals I have though. I guess all of them will stay with me. At worst they are all het for pied.

I wouldn't feel safe calling them het piebald for sure considering two things: 1) that you didn't do the pairing, and 2) that you were told she wasn't paired at first, only to later be told that she was paired with a piebald and a bumblebee. If you're going to keep them like you say, it is no big deal. Just be careful if you do end up selling any.

Their colour looks right for normal hatchlings, and you won't be able to prove anything genetic unless you're willing to do some line breeding. Even then, chances are low that you will prove anything apart from having some normals with an interesting pattern; the patterns of normal ball pythons can be quite variable, and very few of what people like to call "dinkers" these days are actually something genetic.

They really do brighten and darken up a lot after that first shed though, you'll see. Thought I had a good example for you, but looks like the photos were mislabeled on my website. I'll see if I can find another. Best of luck though with whatever you plan to do with them. The neck spot most of them have is pretty cool.

Here's the example I wanted to show you. This female came out of the egg really light like yours, as shown in the first photo. However, she darkened to the typical P. regius colour after her first shed, shown in the second photo.

My hopes aren't high, but I'm still excited. As for being her for pied, if I sell any they will be to the original owner. He has already asked if I'd be interested in selling the females. I wouldn't sell them as hets to anyone else. I'd just keep them.

Maybe a solved mystery! Do they look like they could possibly be fires? While cleaning a tub out several months ago I put the fire male in with another female. Briefly.
The reason I ask, I just went and cleaned the racks and realized the fire male has an identical stripe and spot just behind his head.

I would wait tell they shed, but they look like a sulfur or fire.
