Reduced pattern genetic?
I paired a reduced pattern female to a pin and got the following:
- 2.0 pins
- 0.1 'reduced' normal, looks like mum
- 0.1 reduced pin
Here is the reduced pin

Could it just be luck that I hit 2 reduced patterns from the clutch or could the mum be genetic
Cheers in advance

Re: Reduced pattern genetic?
Both parents influence the offspring, normal or not, so it's possible mom's clean looks passed on. Could you post pics of the parents and siblings maybe? Could give us a better idea of what's going on

Very nice looking reduced stuff! I'd certainly hold the normal and the pin back. Hope you can produce a reduced male next season to breed back to mom...you could have something interesting on your hands.

x2. I think you could have a genetic reduced. Those pin and normal babes look great! And mum looks pretty awesome too. Shes super light. Im not sure if thats just her or typical of genetic reduced BPs but she looks great!

I have sold the pin but am keeping hold of the normal for my enchi projects. Am so hoping for a male reduced pin next year!
The mum looks lighter in that pic than she really is.
If anyone has info on the reduced gene it would be very much appreciated
