Hmmm, grey rat snake came to mind after seeing the pics (I'm no rat expert). Can you post up close up photos?

I'll get some more shots tomorrow, when I try to weigh her. Her previous owner had apparently bought her at a pet store as a corn snake when she was young, so it's entirely possible she was mislabeled. I don't have a whole ton of colubrid experience, so I'm not really certain on anything in that aspect.

Sorry they're small, I can post bigger copies of any of these if you'd like (I was also posting them on my tumblr, forgot that linking from there auto-resizes). Its feeding day, and she was tracking me through the glass so I was able to get some better shots.

I don't see the arrow on its head (but I'm also looking at these pics on my phone so they are teeny tiny) but I'd guess grey rat not corn.

    Re: Morph ID?

I know some are saying not corn but grey rat. They are both just different color phases of the same snakes, so the heads are very similar. It looks like a ghost corn to me. I found several images out there, and while they looked a little more muted, they even had the yellow side markers.

They are not different color phases of the same snake. The are completely different species. Grey rats are a sub species of black rats. Black rats are cousins to corns.

I have a large anery corn female, and yours looks very similar to her. the head pattern is a little different, but I'd call it an anery corn. When mine has babies they come in varying shades of grey, some are lighter and some are darker.

    Re: Morph ID?

Have you considered it being a fox snake? I've encountered a great many corn and rat snakes in my neck of the woods and the general shape of that snake seems a bit off for either. It might be a hybrid too if you don't think it looks like Elaphe vulpina, I'm just not seeing pure grey or corn.
