    well that looks ok maybe try taking one hide out or getting a smaller hide how old is the snake?

    ye my baby ball is about a month old and i give him small hides they dont like large spaces them hides look huge on the picture!

    ill try get a picture of my set up for my ball

    this is my set up for my baby, he eats fine he sheds great hes never agressive.. everythings a mess im just about to feed lol:

    They do like snug little hides. You can always crumple up newspaper and fill part of the hide with it and remove it as he gets bigger.

    He could have very well pee'd and the condensation is a result of the UTH drying out the substrate. I would dry out the hide and recheck later. If the substrate is completely dry then your good but if it's damp you should change it in that area and keep an eye on it.

    Pythons and snakes in general do not urinate wet like mammals. Their kidneys pass only dry urates, this is definitely not a case of evaporating urine condensing under the hide.

    Besides, the amount of urine you would need for condensation to build inside the hide would smell awful WAY before it started condensing.

    okay, then what should I do? is it okay for him to stay in a hide that has condensation like that?
