    Re: Snake addiction

We got my son a snake (female Royal) for his B-day the end of May. Both my wife and I were dead set against it at first. The I gave in and she said we'd "try it". It's gone well, and we spent quite a bit of $ on setting the tank up the right way. The thermostat cost ended up eclipsing the snake, the tank, and some of the accessories.

The plan is to stick with one. However, as has been stated here the "addiction" grabs you. I suddenly find myself wanting a Dumerils boa. If that angle doesn't work, I'm trying to get my younger daughter to think about a Royal. My wife will not go for me getting a snake, but if the kiddies want one, maybe??

Really if I didn't need to set up another tank, it would be easy price wise.

    Stay tuned!
