What to look for with a fire.

I'm going to get a fire female to go with my pastel, so what are the traits you look for? What makes a great fire from mediocre one?

How bright the yellow is and how much flames and blushing it has.

The brightest that you can find. I paid a couple hundred more for this fire female than the prices of other fires at the same show. But none of the others came close to her in quality.

I agree with Robin. I paid a couple of hundred more for my Flame as well, but the quality speaks for itself. Everyone that sees her in person is wowed.

Get one that looks like this:

This was a few days ago and the day after this pic was taken he went into blue. So this is him at his dullest, and hes still pretty bright.

Ivefound a couple for 300ish price range. Not too bad but not as bright as those. I'm looking to make some fireflys. And then cross a firefly with a pinstripe. Good idea?

Mine cost about $600, but she was already 400g. Price is what it is, I would keep looking till you see one that you want regardless of price.

Not to pick a fight but you also bought a "flame". With a "specialty line" comes a higher price tag.

The cheapest female fire ive seen is like $350. Most nice ones are like $400+ though. I would go to an expo to look for one, that way you get to see it in person too.
