    Still a bit too thin?

This is my baby. She's a rescue. I was wondering if she might be on the thinner side - I brought her in to Underground Reptiles and they said she was underweight. The previous owner, when he fed her, only fed her pinkies when she was supposed to be on hoppers. I plan on feeding her tomorrow (or today, if I can make it out) on a hopper.

Also, the scales on her head look weird. There are better pictures in the gallery, but they look almost "fogged out." Why is that?

Looks fine to me, but I don't have a seasoned eye. Spine doesn't look like it's sticking out and skin doesn't look loose. Just remember, feed 15% body weight!

EDIT: It's also kind of hard to tell from the angles.

Yeah she looks pretty skinny. I would try to get her on rat fuzzies or mouse hoppers once a week.

Could her thinness (nutrient deficiency, what have you) also be responsible for the fogginess? (I'm getting a rat fuzzy tomorrow).

I honestly don't see the fogginess your talking about. Is there a way you could get more pics?

I too think she looks a bit skinny, especially in the pic with her on a deck, you can really see her skin hanging. Definitely get her on rat fuzzies or mouse hoppers, and feed her every 5 days

The plus side is that she's apparently feeding, shouldn't take long to get her to an appropriate thickness.

X2! As long as shes eating, she should be fine despite her current size

Is the "fogging" you're talking about the little light brown spots visible on the head? If so, that is perfectly normal
