to me, this is a gutless, pass aggressive way to deal with a problem. Maybe all you wanted was some attention. But if you truly want to address what sounds like a very bad situation, I think you should:
1.) Contact the seller and provide him with complete information about the bad shipment. Include pictures. Let him know how disappointed you are in a mature, upfront manner. I would expect that the breeder would be just as upset as you are that one of his creations was shipped in this manner and also the fact that a costly asset was put at risk by a careless employee. I would bet that the breeder would have thanked you, apologized pofusely and probably offered a partial refund or credit towards a future purchase to make things right with you.
2.) If the buyer did not adequately address this issue, you should man up and post complete info about the situation and name names so that other customers will noot face this situation and other snakes will not be put at risk
Like others have said, if all you want to do was whine about it, this was not the right place for that.
I am hoping your snake did not suffer any long term damage.

I will not bring any names into the because from what I have seen over the years are people always bashing the OP and I do not want to hear it.
When OP are questioned it's because their claim is questionable.
Is yours questionable? Maybe, maybe not, I do not know.
My question is what is the point of such a thread if you have no intention to share the name of someone who according to YOU has poor shipping practices? Kinda make a thread like this useless doesn't it?
Now are those really poor shipping practices? Do you have any pictures to support your claim/rant?
If it was me and I received an animal and I was as dissatisfied as you seem to be it would go this way.
1# I would contact the breeder, and return the animal for a full refund,
2# Once done if I believed there was a real issue with shipping which could jeopardize animals in the future I would not hesitate to make a very detailed post with pictures describing the shipping practices in question. and would not hesitate to provide a name as well so other potential buyers can decide for themselves whether or not they want to buy from that person.

When you have a less than desirable transaction with anyone in this hobby, you do every one in this hobby a disservice by not coming froward with all the details.
While this rant thread my have made you feel better, and certainly brought you some attention, what it really did was make you part of the problem, not part of the solution.
I certainly hope I don't have a similar experience with this same breeder, but now I can't make a more informed decision about who I should or should not purchase from because you are scared to participate in full disclosure. When you have right on your side, you should never be afraid to shine a light on what is wrong. Sorry you chose the easy path.
I find that very disappointing.

I thought Facebook was for Venting?
Some people just like attention I guess. Atleast it's not a post about an ingrown toe nail...
