He is most definitely stressed by all those crazy events. Leave him alone as much as possible around cleaning the enclosure and mite treatments, and he will be just fine.

I know someone will suggest you get PAM for treating mites. PAM is ideal if you can get it. But if you do, follow the directions on the container to the letter.

That said, it sounds like you've had a rough day bud. I hope everything mellows out for you a bit now.

I will not touch him now except for misting the enclousure, replacing water etc..

i have bought some kind of spray you just spray on the snake and leave it so hopefully it should be ok and yes a very good day spend around £50 :/

I have read a number of these threads and want to ask for clarity sake. By PAM you are refering to Prevent A Mite, correct? I see the term used a lot. But imagine there is a newbie on these threads who knows very little. As strange as it may seem, I am just wondering if they might think you are refering to the cooking spray.

The first time I saw that I was like uhhhh what? I haven't had to deal with mites, but I would hope people would do a quick google search before spraying their snake down with cooking spray

Don't know what spray that is, but the only thing I would use is Prevent a Mite. You DO NOT use it on the snake, but in the enclosure and substrate. IMO everyone who keeps snakes should have a bottle on hand, and even if they don't have any snakes yet but are planning on getting them in the future it's a must just in case:
