I put mine in the fridge for a day before feeding. I take them out about 3 hours before to come up to room temps and 30 min before I put them loose in the snake room on a human heating pad then just before offering I'll heat the head with a hair drier.
generally i put them in a ziplock and warm them in warm water for a while. however with my mojave spider male that has been reluctant up till last week. we actually put them in the water direct till it was warm then used a hair dryer to dry the fur. finally after a few months he took it without any delay.

Thanks!
I warm up a bowl of water for about one minute and thirty seconds. The water shouldn't be scalding hot, but hot enough! I then put the mouse in a ziploc bag and submerse it for about 2 minutes. I squeeze the mouse after 2 minutes to make sure it's warm and completely thawed ALL OVER. I pre-scent the room by taking a blowdryer/fan and wafting the thawed mouse smell toward the enclosure. After I see my BP start to come out of his side or notice the smell I use tongs to lower the mouse and do the little zombie dance
I put mine in a ziplock and just set them in front of a fan for a couple hours then the bag gets dropped in warm water for about 10 minutes and presto, warm rats.
