Ok, apparently the skinny looking one is the female and he had them labeled wrong on his computer. Hopefully gonna pick the girl up soon today if possible.

Can you post the pic that he sent you of the "skinny" female?? If she is the same one as the very FIRST picture you posted, I would snap her up in a heartbeat.... Very nice animal.

$100 for a female hypo is a very decent price if she's healthy - and those animals do not look bad at all. Definitely worth going to see. But I'm interested to see the most recent pic the person sent you since you mentioned "skinny". Mostly just out of curiosity, but also just in case....

Yep thats the one. I liked her more as well, clean and a nice pattern. She just seems kind of thinner compared to the other one. I have a feeling these pics may be out dated both ads say theyre about 4 ft long, not sure how close they look to 4 feet in the pics.

Re: Price for a hypo boa?

    Well, thats cool.

I was supposed to meet this guy today and I texted him about going to get it and he says he sold the male and female hypo already and he only has a super hypo for 200 (or something like that) and other snakes 200+ I dont think Id be interested in buying anything off him now.

Guess I'll keep looking on craigslist/ the next reptile show in a few weeks.

^ Sorry to hear that, I'd be very disappointed and probably pretty PO'd. It's a shame when seller decide to do this, I understand money is king but if you agree to sell to "x" person you should really hold up to that deal. Only when "x" person bails out or doesn't pay by the agreed date is when the seller should move on. From his practices I wouldn't have bought anything else from him either. I hope you find another nice little hypo.

In this picture, she does not look too thin at all. Boas should be lean and muscular - they are not ball pythons and should not appear chunky. This female is really nice.

I am so sorry this happened. That's totally uncool.

You might get lucky at the next expo. Hypos are usually readily available and prices have come down over the last year. I bough my female hypo for $200 last May, but she is also double het for ghost which adds to the value. An exceptionally nice super hypo might also be worth 200, but I would not buy a super off craigslist. That's a lot like buying a het - there's no way to prove the super until its bred. Buy a super or a het from a reputable breeder with a good reputation.

Hang in there - hypos can be found pretty easily. I am sure you'll find the snake of your dreams with only a little patience.

Yeah, I dont understand people sometimes. Same thing happened when I was looking for a car. They could at least give a heads up about it, seeing as I was the first person to contact them about it.
    Thanks!

I know shes not tooo skinny but she looked a bit more slim than the male.

The expo around here is pretty small, I know I've seen some normal boas for pretty cheap before. I think the hypos were around 200 last time I went, no hets. I guess I wont know until I go. Albino would be cool but probably to expensive.
