You could get this unit but I would also recommend just a probed thermometer to measure the hot side since the humidity under a bunch of substrate is going to be different than what your snake is exposed to. You can use the combination unit to determine cool side/ ambient temperatures and humidity.

and the sticky thing will stick on the side of the tank and measure humidty?
