It doesn't look good. The best thing you can do is to just make him comfortable. Make sure there is plenty of water and keep him in the incubator. Don't mess with him any more. I don't think he is going to make it. Sorry.

The cut looks awful big. And if you did that at day 51, they may have been exposed too much to the elements. Hard lesson to learn. Wish there was something I could do or say to help.

Yeah, sorry. A buddy of mine lost two clutches of lessers by cutting too big too early.
    Lesson learned.
I know sorry doesnt mean much but sorry.

I'm so sorry. That's never fun. I learned about cutting the hard way too.
There's a main reasons that babies don't make it with cutting and that's bacteria forming in the egg. Cutting early always comes with the risk of the longer they're in there the more bacteria forms. So flushing is a big deal thing if you are cutting.
My rule of thumb now is wait for one at least to pip and then cut. Small cut, everything sterile.
    Again im sorry.

For the future, I cut a "V" in the egg so it creats a flap that it can close. For example, here is a clutch from last year that I cut around day 57:

The flap is open in these pics because of the little noses poking out, but you can see how the flap stays closed if they aren't peeking. This method has worked for me.

Don't give up. Learn what works for you.
