from my understanding the "All Lessers are descendants of the original platinum or "platty daddy". That snake produced what we call lesser platinums. The lessers look slightly different then the original. " is 100% true. However I do not know if there was ever proof of an additional gene that made the orignial what it was because (from my understanding) it was never reproduced.

This is similar to the "white smoke" which started the coral glows, and it seems the bananas arent far off either. If one were to guess and hypothoize about these genes, it seems the coral glows and bananas could have a similar behavior as the BELs (mojave, lesser, butter).
