    Single-gene Spotnose tend to have lots of black belly scales. Something else to look for...

    Thanks, I have noticed that on many photos I've seen. These questionable babies have a different belly pattern that I've only seen in photos a couple of times. Both have a line of dots down the middle of the belly and other than that it is clear. The pastels have a clear belly and the normal has a normal looking belly.

    The head stamp, dots on the jaw, jagged neck pattern, and belly lines really have me wondering. These pics were taken quickly with my cell phone the day they hatched. Once again not great pics but they are in deep blue now so it wouldn't do any good to try for better ones for a few days.
