age is irrelevant as long as you get a Bp from a good breeder... you want one that is eating already. most good breeders won't sell hatchlings until they are eating.
I got these 2 pastels from Justin Kobylka back in November

he doesn't have any listed last I checked, but he didn't when I got my 2 either. shoot him an email. he might not have one right now but eggs are hatching so he will soon.
Other good places to look into are:

Re: Need help!
I'm just being picky about age because I want to see the BP grow myself, and not just have it already be big. I don't know, is that weird? But I'll check those out, if anyone has any other suggestions, please feel free!

I'm the same way, the 2 that I got from Justin were 2 months old, and 1 month old (approximately) when I got them.
Almost everything on the market in the next few months will be very young as the market is flooded with hatchlings (mid summer seems t be the peak)

No, that's not weird. I felt the same way! I want to know that I raised my snakes from the time they were tiny.

Re: Need help!
Thank you everyone for all of your help! I'm in the process of getting everything together for a cage now, but as far as a tub goes, approximately what size tub should i get for what weighted snake? I'm looking to get one at around 600-800g. What size tub?

-
for 600-800 grams I would go with a 28 or 32 quart tub
