Lol,
It's not a new way of trolling. It's just what happens at this time of year. 
Lots of people get a new snake from petco or where ever and realise they have a problem and need help.
Despite searching online for the answer a lot of them really aren't netizens or forum addicts so once they get the answer they don't come back. Quite a few do come back later if they remember they got the help they needed and it worked for them and then they start taking part a little more and joining in.
I know it's easy to get noob question fatigue - it hits us all at times.
There are enough people here though that you can just decide to take a back seat for a couple of weeks or whatever and others will take up the slack.
It's just the price we have to pay for trying to help beginners. If it helps it does mean we help a lot of individual snakes during a year compared to a forum more focused on mid to high experience level keepers.
That's what keeps me loving this place.
