    Someone above listed a radiator that goes up to 1500 Watt capacity. Is it safe to use a thermostat for these oiled filled heaters with such high wattage? I thought most thermostat have must lower threshold than that. I know there are always people who did it with no problem so far, but you know what I mean. I believe that herpstat 2 for example has a threshold of 500 Watt per output (I may be wrong)? If so, what's lower than the minimum 600 Watt heater setting listed above.

    Also, where would you place the probe? If the room is even moderately sized? I see people put a fan behind it and that is the air flow, but it doesn't really blow up or down just sideways.
