The old owner didn't feed him for MONTHS. but the guy I picked him up from was the real savior but couldn't continue to feed him so I took him since I breed rats. Hopefully he gains some color when he starts to eat more.
I'm honestly loving the pattern on this guy, how broken it is.... I'm gonna try and breed him to something and see what he makes... I think he could make some cool patterns. I wish I saw him as a baby.
Usually I'd wait to feed him, but I'm feeding some of my females and he's going crazy in his tub! I'm gonna try to get a small 44gram F/T rat into him.
I've had this guy for about a month now, he's eaten twice for me now. He first refused a live rat so I tried F/T a week later, he's been taking them since. He's now at 564 grams.
He had a really odd defecation the first time. It wasn't the normal ball python defecation, it was semi-sold and there was a ball of something... idk. It was the WORST smell I've ever encountered though.. He defecated again yesterday and this time it was normal, he shed too! Snapped some photos of him :].
