True statement about games being for stress relief! Just like sports can be for others. But when you bring it to a social level with others playing and being involved, you need to follow certain codes of conduct. I'm not saying "you should never get on a mic and trash talk", what I am saying is you should not use "glitches" to your advantage just to ruin matches for other people.

And yes, the tactical insertion statement was a purely loaded statement . . guess it's that "immaturity" kicking it.

I don't have time for raids either - it would probably just end up being a stressor rather than a hobby.
Sounds exactly like my story. Been playing since vanilla, and am just not into that hardcore keyboard pounding for extended periods. I did hook up with a couple great guilds at different points and had a ton of fun running 10-mans, but both disbanded for whatever reason. Now when I do log in, I'm just leveling alts or (shudder) doing a few dailies of one sort or another. Tried the MoP beta, but got bored with that pretty quick. After so many years, I'm afraid I'm becoming bored with the game in general.

    Horde side, Dragonblight.
    My 85's are:
    Eyss, belf hunter
    Veracity, belf paladin
    Nomari, tauren druid

Also leveling a 'lock, and someday my DK will see 85 too.

Yep, exact same reasons I went on hiatus for so long, got bored . . . There is nothing wrong with video games like WoW, and as long as you do it in moderation there is nothing wrong with extended raids if its with friends. Only reason I got back in this time around was all the free stuff that got thrown at me, plus my friends pulled the old guild back together (IRL friends not just online pals). Makes the world of difference in the world of warcraft . . .

That's the one thing I miss about WoW is the social aspect...

Playing starcraft without knowing friends who play, you're basically subjecting yourself to hours of people telling you that you have no life and that you should kill yourself... Whether you win or lose.

Once had a guy tell me that I just pissed off someone with connections to the CIA and the mob, and that I just got my family's necks slit.

All I could think was "Mafia AND CIA connections? You must throw really awkward parties."

And the rage just never ends.

Think Black Ops 2 will live up to the hype?

Personally did not like the original release compared to the MW series releases.

It looks pretty good. I am a little worried about the future aspect, but it could be cool. And of course treyarch means zombies!
