It's really up to the individual personalities of the mice in question.
Some are very helpful wit others, while others will tear the litter to shreds. There seems to be no direct link to breeding or lines with this, but definitely a link to how they were raised. Meaning, mice raised in a colony setting, do well in a colony setting as adults.
