Lol, that is cool. My niece and nephew still get a little sad come feeding day, but they love to watch the snakes eat.

Mine is great for petting the "tubs of cuteness" as she calls them but come feeding day...
She will definately be an advocate for the hobby! She is the one that talked me into snakes. When she was about 6, lol. I will have her call your wife later.........

That's hilarious, but awesome at the same time. Definitely should be proud of her, I hope she keeps up the hobby

Never underestimate the importance of giving your snakes a well socialized feeder.

Rumor has it that well socialized rats taste better

Kudos to your daughter for making those rats feel more at ease as they transit the Green Mile...

My 4 y/o son and daughter who's 3, are exactly like that. They name them play with them, then off to feed the snakes! I did get a little resistence when one of the rats first had a litter. The kids watched the whole process from birth to weaned, so there was a little more attachment, but they are very smart and understand the whole circle of life idea. I feel it's very beneficial for my kids to learn about, understand, and appreciate nature. My son ecspecially will lead the next generation of herpers into the future!
