If your temps are right it should be fine as far as the snake digesting before the meal rots inside it. If your temps are variable or just wrong however it will probably lead to a regurge.

You still might get a regurge anyway though - which is obviously serious.

And there is always a chance ( though it is probably quite slim for a one off event ) that it might trigger a fast.

Is there any real reason you want to do it?

It was after hours, so we couldn't return the rat. We had nothing but a cardboard box to keep it in, and it chewed out. AND the cats were bound and determined to eat it. The other roommate FREAKED out when I suggested just offing it and freezing it instead.

I checked my temps again, 93 warm side, 84.5 cool side. I have an IR therm that I use to check temps twice a day - they haven't fluctuated more than a degree in the last few days.
