The general rule of thumb is 36 to 48 hours. I always wait two days. You can make an exception for husbandry issues, but keep it brief if you must handle.

I highly reccomend investing in a kitchen scale from walmart for $20. It takes the guesswork out of everything. A scale and a quality temp gun are 2 of my best investments so far for keeping my snakes lol.

They sell temp guns at Radio Shack for pretty cheap. They have a mini version no bigger than a battery i use it works perfect.

For posting pics from iphone: go to appstore, download the photobucket app and create an account. Then upload your pics to photobucket. Then you will copy the [img] link from the pic you want posted and paste it in the reply window on the forum.
