If the military wanted you to have kids, they'd issue them to you in boot camp! JUST JOKING, couldn't resist the old joke - and yes, I've served in the US Navy. I also knew some single parents who were deployed. It wasn't easy, but they were able to work it out. With your supportive parents, it could help make it easier for you. With today's technology, like Skype you can do what we couldn't do way back in the old days.
