    I feel awful. Not only was I really looking forward to rescuing him, but I feel partly responsible for getting him for her in the first place. I hugged my snake extra tight tonight.

    I hate to be the Richard Cranium at a time like this, but, have you seen the deceased BP? Are you sure this isn't your friend's way of trying to get you out of her snake business?

    Oddly enough I had the exact same thought, but she's not that kind of person. I think once she swallowed her pride she really did want us to help.

    Sorry to hear what happened to the little one It's so sad when you try and think you're getting somewhere/through to someone and then it all goes downhill. Hopefully after all of this, you may have made her think about how to look after a pet in the future if she has any more.
