Wow what a deal! It seems strange to me that this guy wouldn't have tried rats, i feel like that's one of the first go-to solutions for a picky eater.... oh well his loss is most certainly your gain!

I have no idea why he would have no tried it or hides, ASF or Senting Split braining and so on. But yeah I'm not complaining he's an awesome little snake.

A ball that PREFERS rats over mice? That's my DREAM right now (dealing with 4 juvis who've decided not eating is the new "in" thing).
I know your pain all too well. Last year I had entire clutch or Woma pythons refuse to eat for 6 months. It tried me to my very end. Caused me great heartache and nearly my mind lol. But after months of assit feeding & force feeding they all learned to eat on there own. Also have a Mojave female 2011 off fed and she is trying my nerves every week I try to feed her. Stick with it they will eat again.

Thank you everyone. He is wonderful little lesser. Nice to look at and has been a great feeder for me. I have planed to pair him with my 2010 pewter female. Thanks agsin and hoe everyone is having a great season either breeding or raising I wish you all the best.
