Re: Animal basics rack
That first rack you mentioned is just fine for adult males and subadult females. I've also known people to keep their adult females in tubs that size their entire lives, but to each their own.
I wouldn't go with the larger cb70 until they're over 1500 grams because it's really just a waste of tub space for small snakes, IME.
The bonus on the sweaterbox rack is that Rich sells dividers which divide each tub into two, and is handy for keeping two smaller snakes in each tub until they're big enough for their own.
The flexwatt is recessed into the shelf, and there are two small blocks that raise the back of the tub up and clear from the flexwatt.
I've got 3 of that particular rack, and like it very much.

While this is being discussed i have a question about the RBI racks. How high can you stack the cb-70 three drawer models and how high can you stack the 4 drawer sweaterbox models?
And to the OP: Most people put females over 2000grams into 41qt or cb-70 tubs and keep the rest in 32qt(the 4 drawer RBI sweaterbox rack). BUT some keep all their snakes in 32qt tubs. I personally feel thats a bit cramped for full grown females and then when you add a male in for breeding it seems really tight but thats just my opinion...

Re: Animal basics rack
I've got the sweaterbox racks stacked 2 high, but I suppose you could stack them three high if you wanted. Would be tough to see into the top couple tubs though.

The site says 4 high for the 3 drawer and 3 high for the 4 drawer sweater box.
I think I will end up getting the sweater box one for now and then up grade when they get to be bigger =P it's not like I will have them empty for long if my plans go as expected haha!

So just asking, I know its probably a no brainer, but do animal plastic racks come with a thermostat for their heating or do you need to get one to go with it?

Re: Animal basics rack
With both reptile basics and animal plastics, you have to supply your own thermostat.

Can you link to the dividers? I can't seem to find them on the site.

Re: Animal basics rack
Hmm, not sure why they're not on the site anymore. Shoot him a message and ask if he's still selling them if you're interested. Maybe with him thinking he was no longer going to be making racks, and then things turning out differently, he's just forgotten to put them back up.
